Commissions

I want a custom piece!

Of course you do! and I'd love to discuss working with you and your ideas!

This page is for purely customised work, if you're looking for a #ToonMe commission head here

How it works/Terms

1. Brief
For any commission, I require a brief. This can be as simple as a few reference photos if it’s for a portrait or please reference any of my work you particularly like and I can create something similar.
I do require a written and/or visual description of what you’re hoping to receive. Without this, I cannot accurately provide a quote if I don't understand what you want.

2. Bookings
After you’ve sent me a brief and I'm happy to take the project on, I'll ask you provide a payment, at the very least a deposit to secure a place in my diary. Payments via PayPal are preferable, although other alternatives can be arranged on request. If a deposit is paid I'd require 50% of the total cost upfront and 50% on completion.

3. Revisions
I understand that the first design I send to you may require tweaking, I can offer 2 revisions on all commissions, to ensure you receive the artwork you're happy with, any further changes are chargeable. A clear initial brief is essential to ensure I have the right idea first off to avoid any additional/unforseen charges.

4. Pricing
Prices vary per piece and will be quoted on an individual basis. There is a £40 base charge on all commissions. Bookings are only refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of the initial payment. Any cancellations outside of the 24 hour window will only be entitled to a 50% refund due to not being able to replace your diary slot at short notice. Bookings can be rescheduled to a more convenient time.

5. Copyright
All commission copyright remains with me, the artist. If you’d like to commission artwork to sell on your own website/merchandise there is an additional fee for the copyright release, this fee depends on the piece.

6. Your Rights & Cancelling
I reserve the right to cancel or terminate any verbal or written contract made for commissioned work at any time. In the very rare event I cannot complete a piece in a mutually suitable time frame for unforeseen circumstances, I will refund the full amount. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

7. Timescales
Timescales vary for each commissioned piece and depend on how many hours of my work are involved and the level of detail involved. The nature of the piece will also affect the quote (such as it being a commercial piece or personal).

I will always give an estimated timescale that aligns with my diary at the point of booking but please be please be aware this may to change. If your deadline is urgent, please let me know at the time of booking.

Please leave your details below with a brief description of your idea and I'll get back to you on pricing and availability
